The Peninsula Golf and Country Club is one of those venues that feels polished the second you arrive. The architecture is classic, the grounds are expansive, and everything about it feels thoughtful without being overdone. If you’re dreaming of this kind of day, see my guide to planning a wedding at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club as a California wedding photographer.

Weddings at the Peninsula Golf and Country Club just make sense. It has a luxury overall feel with wide-open spaces and grand ballrooms that let your story really breathe. And as a California wedding photographer, I know that spaces like this photograph beautifully because they give couples room to move naturally without feeling crowded or staged.
Here’s everything to know about the venue:
Maximum capacity: 250
On-site accommodations: No
Getting-ready rooms on-site: Yes
Weddings year-round: Yes
All-inclusive packages: Yes

There are two main options for a traditional wedding here, including an outdoor ceremony (with the golf course as your backdrop, which is stunning) and an indoor reception in the ballroom. The ceremony space overlooking the golf course feels open and calm, while the ballroom gives you a classic reception setting with plenty of room for thoughtful design and guest experience.

Since there are outdoor options at the venue, I’ll always recommend getting married in the warmer months. Summer evenings here tend to give you the longest light for portraits on the course, which is something couples always appreciate once the day gets moving.

One of the things I appreciate most about Peninsula Golf and Country Club is how many different spaces naturally work for photos without needing to force anything. Clean lines and vibrant colors from the rolling hills make it easy to find art in the small moments, and the fact that this venue allows you to stay present, connected, and focus on what’s important. That makes a huge difference in your gallery.
My favorite photo locations have to be in front of the European-style building for architectural details, on the golf course for movement and space, and underneath the ballroom chandeliers for those classic reception moments.

Peninsula Golf and Country Club works beautifully for couples who want a refined wedding without the day feeling overly produced. I picture deep, moody, unique color palettes, structured floral arrangements, and simple ballgowns with luxe fabrics.
Above all, weddings here feel easy. They’re easy to plan, they’re easy to stay present in, and they actually let you feel connected all day long. That’s something that really makes a difference in how you experience your day.

Daisy and Michael approached their wedding day in the best way possible: relaxed and present, and they were truly excited to celebrate with their people. Their ceremony in the gazebo overlooked the course while the evening reception carried that same effortless energy inside the ballroom.
They had a deep and moody color palette that worked so well with the luxury of the space, and the lighting worked with us so well. It framed each shot beautifully, perfect for my editorial, documentary approach to capturing weddings. There’s no venue that could’ve held their day better than Peninsula Golf and Country Club, and getting to see their moments unfold here was such a joy.
If you’re planning a wedding here, I highly recommend Daisy and Michael’s vendor team:

As a California wedding photographer, I’ve learned that the most meaningful galleries come from days rooted in connection, and the Peninsula Golf and Country Club fosters that.
